I cannot remember a time when I couldn't stitch, on retirement I decided to join an adult education course in Textile Art  On completion of the course I enrolled to study for a Textile Art degree,  I completed my studies in 2022.

I have recently been involved in a collaboration with four local artists creating textile panels for Kearsney Abbey located within a local park, this was a lottery funded commission, the panels now hanging in the refurbished Billiard room

In July 2020 I was invited to exhibit with the Deptford Does Art.

I am a member of the Dover Arts Development group and also the Consuo Textile Group

My solo exhibition on completion of my degree was held at the Touchbase Gallery in Folkestone.

Recently I was part of the Threaded Together project by Gwen Hedley
